Art - painting - watercolours - love em

I've finally gotten back to some painting. Not a watercolour, yet, but one of my toy boxes. It's whet my whistle. I've realized for a long time that anyone can paint - ANYONE. If you can't draw, you can still paint shapes, use techniques that create lovely patterns and textures or create a finger painting masterpiece. I've watched students become fantastic - with little talent; just taste, a sense of colour and desire.

My mind is starting to trip around what subject I want to paint this time. Autumn is a definite turn-on. Or maybe my first really planned abstract. Not just a study to see what happens when you use wax resist; very watery strokes when the colours run into each other; bold strokes across the page then something on top, etc., etc. Endless possibilities. And that's the problem. It's so endless it's hard to decide what to choose to do.

But I'll start tonight - looking forward to it.
